We Go Out In Savannah

LUCAS THEATER

Mr. Fettucini and Ms. Goulash had the excellent opportunity to see John Prine at the Lucas Theater recently. Mr. Fettucini, give us your notes:

Mr. Fettucini: Yo, happy upcomin' holiday to you's. Ms. Goulash and I remember when John Prine was just startin' out and saw him in person a long time and far away ago. His show at the Lucas was non-stop. I like a guy that's all business and gets it all out there. John Prine sure got it all out there...he must'a sang every song he ever wrote. I especially was partial to Dear Abby and he sure sang it with gusto. He must'a played at least 5 different guitars...kept his roady busy. The Lucas was packed. I was proud of everyone who showed up to support quality entertainment in this town. Keep comin' people!! The more who buy tickets to shows, the more quality shows we'll get.

Ms. Goulash: Dahlings, I could tell that the crowd was a bit older. Let's say middle aged. However, we middle agers are the concert go-ers extraordinaire and know how to let the entertainer feel appreciated. Except for the fact that no one was dancing in the aisle, I would say that this little gypsy dancer found the rhythm of the night foot tapping delightful, dahlings.

Rating: 1 - 5 E. O.'s (entertainment orgasms)
