We Eat Out In Savannah

Mr. Fettucini and Ms. Goulash wanted to continue their quest for a great tasting burger. We decided to try The Dawg House in the Food Lion Shopping Center at Waters and Eisenhower in mid-town Savannah. Mr. Fettucini, please begin:

Mr. Fettucini: Yo, how you's doin'. The Dawg House seemed like a strange sounding place to me. I really didn't know what to expect. I thought it had a variety of hot dogs but when I entered the establishment, I realized it's named after the Georgia Bulldogs. Anyways, better to be eatin' at The Dawg House than the Big House with the goodfellas. College teams are really big here in Savannah. We had some great teams in the neighborhood where I grew up. We had the Tasker Street Terrors and the 7th St. Maimers. These guys didn't mess around. If they didn't like a play on the field, they squared it with you later in the back alley. But, I digress. The Dawg House has a killer burger. One of the best I've ever had. These guys know what they're doin' in that kitchen. Go Dawgs!

Ms. Goulash: Dahlings, once again, I joined Mr. Fettucini in having a burger. A burger every month or so is good for my gypsy blood. I just love it when Mr. Fettucini reminisces about his old neighborhood. Everyone must have been so close back then because he refers to a number of the old guys as the family, dahlings.
