Mr. Fettucini and Ms. Goulash are now settled into our new gypsy campsite in mid-town Savannah. While in transition, we passed by Pastry Passion Cafe on River Road in Thunderbolt quite a few times and decided to try it out for breakfast. Mr. Fettucini, please fill us in:
Mr. Fettucini: I love eatin' a great breakfast. It helps this Italian stallion off to a good trot. Pastry Passion Cafe might not be well known but it should be. I had the best eggs benedict I've ever ordered (and I've ordered it alot over the years...to Ms. Goulash's dismay since she believes that orderin' this kinda breakfast has led to Mr. Fettucini's slightly inflated mid-section). Now, you know that my favorite singer is Frank Sinatra and that music is almost always on my mind. Well, when I was givin' my order to the proprietor of Pastry Passion, I could swear I was givin' it to Elvis. If I closed my eyes, I definitely was hearin' Elvis's voice. I was told, however, that although he had the same tone, he didn't have the pipes to match. That's too bad...well, I guess we can't all be gifted like Sinatra and myself.
Ms. Goulash: Dahlings, I orderd the grits and sausage casserole. It was fabulous, dahlings. Pastry Passion Cafe will be on our list of favorite places. Actually, anyplace with Passion in it's name is our kind of place. Am I not right Mr. Fettucini? Mr. Fettucini has always been my personal little passionate Peppy Le Pew.
