Mr. Fettucini and Ms. Goulash had a delightful dinner at Bella's Italian Restaurant in the Habersham Village Shopping District on Habersham in mid-town Savannah. Mr. Fettucini, please dish for us:
Mr. Fettucini: For some strange reason, I seem to be partial to Italian food...go figure. I'm always skeptical when eatin' Italian restaurant food because I compare everything to my Grandmom's cookin'. Grandmom and Aunt Jennie were the best cooks. People in our South Philly neighborhood were always stoppin' by to say hello, usually around dinner time.
At Bella's, I had a cup of their pasta fagioli soup. Delicious. Next, I ordered the linguini and clams in white sauce. You can't see me but I'm pursing my lips in a kiss. Bella's has one bona cucina. I'm gonna be stoppin' in to say hello to Bella's again...probably at dinner time.
Ms. Goulash: Dahlings, I never met Mr. Fettucini's Grandmom but I'm sure she would have loved Bella's linguini with pesto sauce . I did. I also ordered their margherita pizza. Mr. Fettucini and I couldn't finish it so we brought what was left over home. It was delicious cold the next day ( a sure sign of a good pizza, dahlings).
